Social media influencer, Adwoa Tee, has called on Ghanaian youth to stop betting and channel their energy into more meaningful ventures.
Adwoa Tee made the call in a post on X (formerly Twitter), joining a growing number of voices advocating for proper regulation of the betting industry.
Her post simply read, “Stop Betting.”
Although she did not give reasons for her stance, her bold statement has been applauded by many on social media, while others argue that the surge in betting among the youth is a symptom of rising unemployment.
