RAPPER EDEM has cautioned controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale to stop celebrating allegations that he raped a ‘girl’.
Shatta Wale got everyone talking over the weekend after confessing to rape allegations by Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy.
In their heated social media exchanges, Burna Boy accused Shatta Wale of attempting to rape his lady friend he travelled with to Ghana.
Burna Boy wrote, “@Shattawalenima, You tried to rape the girl I brought to Ghana back then. I won’t say her name. But I know what you and Koffi did. That’s the real reason I want your teeth and blood on the floor. I just want you to fight me like a man. Even if I know you are just an unhealthy dog. I could have gotten you killed ages ago if I wanted. But you are not worth it. You’re just a sick puppy. Rapist.”
Surprisingly, Shatta Wale admitted Burna’s claim and even made jokes about it, celebrating his action.
He responded, “Because he is a rapist, he is jealous I did same to his girl cuz that’s his job. Raping jealousy. @burnaboy.”
He justified his action saying he reciprocated an action he took on a Ghanaian Instagram model.
Rapper Edem, who was not pleased with Shatta’s action, chided him. He responded to his fellow musician’s tweet saying, “Bro, you can’t be proud that you RAPED a girl..”
Shatta has since received a lot of condemnation on social media over his tweet about the rape allegations. Some persons have even called for an investigation into the allegations by the appropriate authorities.
