Strategic Security System Cleans Kpone

As part of efforts to improve sanitation, Strategic Security System, the sole solar energy manufacturing company in the country, has embarked on a massive clean-up exercise at Kpone and its environs in the Greater Accra Region.

The exercise, which was conducted at the Methodist School, Shangai, Kokompe, all in Kpone, forms part of the company’s 10th anniversary celebration.

It also freely distributed waste bins to some residents and institutions in the area.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Strategic Security System, Ofori O. Boateng, praised students and residents for contributing to the success of the clean-up exercise.

“As part of our core mandate, Strategic Security System believes so much in giving back to the community, and embarking on this clean-up forms part of our Corporate Social Responsibilities and our 10th anniversary.

“The anniversary activities also include golf tournament, adoption of the Kpone Methodist Basic School, among others,” he stated.

He called on residents and institutions to always ensure a clean market to check the spread of cholera.

According to him, people must clean their various homes and workplaces to prevent the spread of cholera and other filth-related diseases.

The CEO appealed to stakeholders, including religious bodies, schools and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), to help clean the environment to attract visitors.

He stated that the company aims to be the market leader in the alternative energy industry and grow into an international competitive entity by offering world-class solar energy and renewable products to meet the needs of people.

Residents thanked management of Strategic Security System for embarking on the laudable project in the once filthy environment.
