Strika and Abraham Attah
Managers of ‘Beasts of No Nation’ actors Emmanuel Adom Quaye (Strika) and Abraham Attah have dispelled claims that the two young actors do not get along.
In a recent interview with Caleb Nii Boye, a student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Strika disclosed that Abraham is not on good terms with him as he used to do.
“You talk to Abraham normal but the way he replies is not good. He will be shouting and all that. I don’t know if it is because he now lives outside the country and I am still in Ghana,” he said.
However, a statement released by MK Content, the management company that handles both actors, revealed that Strika “still has a good relationship with Abraham Attah.”
Citi FM’s investigations also prove that Abraham usually visits Strika and another actor under their management, Justice, whenever he is in Ghana.
In a recent video of the two, they were seen swimming in a pool with Abraham Attah and another guy.
MK Content has also rebuffed allegations made by Strika that he had been denied his $30, 000 due of the money he earned from the movie producers.
“I did not even see the money. They said the money was at the bank,” he had complained earlier.
But, according to the management headed by Mawuko Kuadzi, Strika’s money “has been put in a Trust Fund in his name at Barclays Bank and now that he is 18 years, he needs a valid ID to access the money.”
Strika was found begging on the streets of Accra on Monday but the managers disclosed that he ran away from school to roam in town.
‘Beasts of No Nation’ is a 2015 American war drama film written, co-produced and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, who acted as his own cinematographer, about a young boy who becomes a child soldier as his country goes through a horrific war.
Shot in Ghana and starring Idris Elba, Abraham Attah, Ama K. Abebrese, Grace Nortey, David Dontoh and Opeyemi Fagbohungbe, the film is based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Uzodinma Iweala.
