The Member of Parliament for the Tamale North Constituency, Alhassan Suhuyini has empowered women groups in his constituency.
The MP presented refrigerators, sewing machines, dryers and a sum of money to women groups in his constituency to help them start up small scale businesses on their own.
He appealed to the beneficiaries to use the items presented to them properly to ensure that it benefits their lives and that of their families.
Mr. Suhuyini assured his constituents of his commitment and dedication towards the transformation of the Tamale North constituency.
According to him, women remain pivotal to the socio-economic development of households, communities, and the nation at large, and assured us that he would come up with good initiatives which will boost the socio-economic conditions of his constituents.
The women groups of Tamale North constituency thanked their MP for his continuous support to members of the constituency and assured him that they will continue to collaborate and support him to ensure that the constituency gets the necessary development and transformation.
