A suspected thief has been found electrocuted at Adeiso in the Eastern Region; a police source has told DAILY GUIDE.
A resident Kofi Amankwah, who lives close to the local police station, discovered upon waking up after midnight to discover the cables connecting his house to the main electricity line cut.
His curiosity drove him to find out more and to his astonishment he found a male adult (whose age he put about 30) lying in a supine position completely dead near the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) pole with the cable in his hands.
It was suspected that after cutting the cable from the house, he sought to do same on the main pole to complete the mission but got electrocuted.
Personnel of the ECG were contacted to pick the corpse to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
