Tamale ‘Kidnapper’ Remanded

The Tamale Magistrate Court, presided over by His Worship, Amadu Issifu, has remanded Ibrahim Kassim, a suspected kidnapper into prison custody.

The accused person was charged with attempt to commit crime to wit child stealing and expected to reappear in court on 20th September 2019.

The accused person however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

It will be recalled that residents of Sabonjida, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region, arrested a suspected kidnapper last week.

The suspect, one Ibrahim Kassim, 38, was arrested when he allegedly tried to kidnap a 5-year old girl, from Hariya Primary, an Arabic school in the area.
