TEAM CSR Ghana, a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has sunk a borehole to provide water for the people of Adomi in the Volta Region.

The project was funded by The Spinal Clinic Limited through its charity arm, Chiropractic Around The World.

During the commissioning of the borehole on 17th December, members of the community, chiefs, elders and Assembly members, expressed their happiness.

Dr. Bryan Cox, who is the author of the book titled, ‘Dr. Spine goes to school,’ said that part of the proceeds from the sale of his book would be used to provide water for needy communities.

Members of Tau Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity known as, “The Ghana Ques,” volunteered their time to sensitize the community about the proper use of water and sanitation to prevent diseases such as cholera.

The exercise would be replicated in needy communities, according to Dr. Bryan Cox, CEO of The Spinal Clinic, through the sale of his books.

Jonathan Akuamoah, CEO of TEAM CSR Ghana, stated that his NGO would continue to support needy communities.

The Assemblyman of the community, Nana Yaw Ampem Darko Jnr., thanked all parties who contributed towards the project and hoped that others would follow suit.
