TECNO MOBILE Ghana, on Friday, out-doored the latest of its smart-phone handsets—Camon 16—onto the Ghanaian market in style.
The new handset boasts of an upgraded camera quality, enduring battery and stylish colours such as glacier silver and ice crystal blue.
Cyril Amarteifio, Training Manager of Tecno Mobile Ghana, commenting on the new handset, stated that even though there were other phone brands competing with Tecno on the market at higher prices, Tecno was always the preferred choice because of its affordable price.
The phone has both the young and old as its target market by virtue of its sleek design.
It is therefore no wonder that it recently won the IFA Product Technology Innovation award this year.
Some of its new features are that the Tecno Camon 16 is fitted with a 48mp high-quality camera and a 105-degree ‘selfie’ for better front camera experience.
Also, it is endowed with a 64mp quad-camera comprising a wide-angle, depth camera and main camera enriched with an ultra night mode which presents clearer pictures and videos at night.
Another added feature is the inclusion of the 4K high definition videos in IMAX quality and HiOS version 7.0, which accords a photo compressor that reduces the size of pictures for more space and photo vaults to allow for picture privacy, a smart scanner to store QR codes and bar codes, a smart scanner translator to interpret different languages, and an authenticator to check for the originality of products.
The Tecno Camon 16 is powered by a non-removable Li-Pro 4500 mAh battery with fast charging 33W for the Camon 16 Premier and 5000mAh with fast charging 18W for the Camon 16 Pro for a long battery experience.
Coming on the heels of the launch, will be the launch of Tecno’s smart wearables, some of which include the smart watch and smart band that check the temperature, and also Tecno H2 Hipods, a dust-free accessory with improved sound when compared to the H1 Hipods.
Brand Ambassador Stonebwoy, who entertained phone lovers at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra to some of his latest songs, called on Ghanaians to embrace the Tecno brand for its uniqueness and quality.
