Tepamanhene Launches 25th Anniversary

The clergy and dignitaries outdooring the 25th anniversary plague

 

Paramount Chief of Tepa, Nana Adusei Atwerenewah Ampem I, has launched his 25th anniversary on the theme, “25 Years of Outstanding Leadership and Development”.

The launch of the silver jubilee coincided with the 62nd birthday celebration of Nana Atwerenewah Ampem I and the GH¢5m fund raising project towards the construction of an event centre.

The anniversary plague and cloth was unveiled by the chairman of the occasion, Samuel Adu Gymfi, with calls on citizens of Tepa both home and abroad and other well wishers to contribute into the fund for success of the project.

Nana Adusei Atwerenewah Ampem I, flanked by his Queenmother, Nana Adjeiwa Peemu in his speech showered praises on the overload of Asante Kingdom Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his visionary leadership which saw him being enstooled and endorsed as the Paramount Chief of Tepa.

He acknowledged Tepa’s fast infrastructure development adding that the recognition given him by Otumfuo is attracting agents of development and personalities to the town.

“It is only good to launch the silver jubilee because the town has witnessed great development and we need to account to the people for our stewardship hence the celebration earmarked for November 16, 2024,”he said.

Among the guests was the NPP Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the area, Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh asked the people of Tepa to vote massively for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to become President and himself as MP for continuity in development.
