Former First Lady Theresa Kufuor
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has rubbished media reports suggesting his wife, Theresa Kufuor is dead.
A statement issued by Mr. Kufuor’s Office and signed by Dr. Kwabena Osei-Adubofour, his Senior Aide and Spokesman, said the report was erroneous.
It stated categorically that Mrs. Kufuor has not passed away.
It stressed that she is alive and currently in her residence at Airport Residential Area.
Regrettably, however, the statement confirmed the passing away of a younger sister to the former First Lady, Madam Mary Mensah, on Thursday morning, 29th of August, 2019.
There has been several misleading media reports in the past about Mrs. Kufuor being dead.
