This year’s edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) nominees concert dubbed ‘VGMA Xperience Concert’ was held last Saturday at the Ho Sports Stadium.
The event, which was organised by Charterhouse, attracted thousands of music fans from all walks of life.
The much hyped event witnessed groundbreaking performances from artistes such as Medikal, Stonebwoy, Piesie Esther, Celestine Donkor, Camidoh, Wendy Shay, Chief One and a host of others.
Stonebwoy’s delivery was extraordinary on the night. It was quite a spectacle as he treated the excited fans to some dance moves on stage.
Some of the songs he performed at the event include ‘Activate’, ‘Puutuu Freestyle’, ‘Nominate’ and a host of others.
Gospel musician, Piesie Esther did not only rock the stage with hit tracks, but her stagecraft was exceptionally good.
Medikal’s presence was also felt. He stormed the stage with so much energy, eventually passing on some to the crowd, which screamed and sang along to all the songs he performed.
Hosted by TV3’s Chrystal Kwame Aryee and Foster Romanus, the night also saw performances from all the six artistes nominated in the Unsung category.
