Thousands of gospel music fans were on Saturday, November 11 thrilled with great musical performances at this year’s edition of the annual gospel concert dubbed ‘MTN Stands In Worship’ held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The much-hyped event brought together gospel artistes, Christians and music fans on one stage to worship and thank God for how far He has brought them.
The event, which had Fiifi Forson as the MC, witnessed historic performances from artistes including Korantemaa, Nsroma Music, Pastor Edwin Dadson, and the sensational MTN Viva Choir.
Other performers included Piesie Esther, reigning VGMA gospel artiste of the year, ‘Aseda’ hitmaker, Nacee, Perez Musik, MOGmusic among others.
The gospel artistes mounted the stage one after the other and treated gospel music fans to unforgettable live performances.
Reigning gospel artiste of the year, Piesie Esther, dazzled the crowd with her vocal ability, stagecraft and her electrifying performance kept fans dancing.
Some of her hit songs including ‘Waye me yie,’ ‘Mo,’ ‘Mentease’ among others got the crowd on their feet throughout her performance.
Gifted and talented in singing, Nacee perfectly exhibited his creative skills when he mounted the stage to perform. He also put up an impressive display during his stage performance on the night.
Perez Musik’s act on the stage was a sight to behold as he thrilled the gathering with some spirit-filled songs like ‘HewaleLala’, ‘BlemaTesa’, and ‘Kaafo’.
MOGmusic sealed the night as he was a delight to watch with so much vocal prowess. His praise medley got the whole crowd on their feet to dance to the glory of their maker. Similar performances were showcased by Pastor Edwin Dadson, Korantemaa, and Nsroma Music.
The concert, which is an annual gospel music event aimed at entertaining Ghanaian gospel music fans, was organised to thank God for the mercies and kindness He continues to shower on Ghana.
MTN Stands in Worship has become one of the most-hyped events on MTN’s calendar.
