Shatta Wale and Prisywan
TikToker, Priscilla Kyeremaa, popularly known as Prisywan, has apologised to dancehall star Shatta Wale after his lawyers threatened legal action over comments she made about him.
Prisywan issued the apology on September 11, a day after the musician’s lawyers gave her 48 hours to delete the video, retract her comments and apologise.
Admitting that she had gone too far, Prisywan said, “Shatta, I am sorry. I acknowledge that I crossed the line with this particular one.”
She said she respected Shatta Wale’s decision to consider legal action and apologised for any harm her comments may have caused.
The controversy started after Prisywan posted a TikTok video on August 29, 2026, in which she advised Shatta Wale to take his mental health seriously and described him as a “confused artiste”.
Shatta Wale’s lawyers, Porta Legis Consultancy, said the comments were false and damaging to his reputation.
They also claimed the video was widely circulated and led to the cancellation of a meeting with investors
The lawyers demanded that Prisywan remove the video, retract her comments and apologise, warning that failure to comply could lead to court action.
Prisywan has now complied with the demands, saying she does not take pleasure in hurting people.
