Tobinco Foundation, Beneficiaries Give Thanks

The management of Tobinco Group of Companies with Church Leadership

The Samuel Amo Tobbin (SAT) Foundation formerly Tobinco Foundation, together with its beneficiaries has held a thanksgiving service to show appreciation to God for His goodness.

The service dubbed, “Aseda Kese” and themed, “Give Thanks” based on Psalm 100: 4-5 was held at the Church of Pentecost, Dr. Thomas Wyatt Assembly in Accra.

It formed part of the Foundations annual activities for its staff and beneficiaries especially widows, widowers and retirees of the Church of Pentecost.

It also afforded the Executive Chairman, Tobinco Group of Companies, Samuel Amo Tobbin, the avenue to give back to society of which he is a member and communities that nurtured him since childhood.

Chairman, Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, advised parents to take interest in their wards upbringing since it is a duty that comes with benefits in old age.

He said, “Train your kids and grandchildren by pushing them to the top and they will also take care of you in your old age.”

Apostle Nyamekye urged the beneficiaries to pray for the youth, take good care of their children and assure them of God’s mercies that would not forsake them to nurture good leaders for the society.

The beneficiaries of the Foundation were presented with half a piece of cloth each, food and bread.

“This is the fourth edition since we started, in all the clothes are 500, the beneficiaries are also given a stipend every month for their upkeep,” Madam Harriet N. Asante, Executive Director, SAT Foundation said.

Mr. Amo Tobbin, in a word of exhortation, urged the aged to have faith in God, adding that “Your serving God will not be in vain, have hope in Him,” he said.

The Church of Pentecost Retired Officers Fellowship presented citations to Mr. Amo Tobbin and his father Elder Amo Tobbin Senior.

SAT Foundation was established in 2008, by Mr. Amo Tobbin, SAT Foundation is focused on making a positive impact in Ghana.

It is a Non-Governmental Organisation and a subsidiary of the Tobinco Group of Companies that exist to engage the CSR interventions of the Tobinco Group of Companies.

The Foundation works to improve access to quality healthcare, secure livelihoods, quality education, basic social amenities and social protection that will enable beneficiaries to enjoy their rights to quality lives.
