Alhaji Abu Lamini
Alhaji Abu Lamini, a Tema-based businessman, has called on Asante Kotoko faithful to rally behind the newly appointed board in their quest to place the club on a higher pedestal.
He was part of the nine-member board which was announced barely a week ago, having served on the board in previous administrations.
The CEO of Lamini Ventures believes it will take a concerted effort from the Porcupine Warriors family to make strides domestically and beyond.
“I am, indeed, honoured for the recognition. I thank Asantehene and club patron for the opportunity to serve our great club again. We can do much together, l believe we can conquer together. Let’s remain focused, put our house in order and l believe we can go far. With my experience on the board for the third time, I believe we will make impact,” Alhaji said in a post-appointment interview.
The business magnate was tasked to handle the club’s continental campaigns during the Opoku Nti-led administration.
The board which is chaired by Kwame Kyei also has Evelyn Nsiah Asare, who is now Director of Sports at the Sunyani Technical University, Joseph Yaw Adu, Laryea Kwamina Mensah and Kwadwo Boateng Genfi as members.
