TT Brothers Admonishes Hearts Fans

Isaac Tetteh

Former Hearts of board member Isaac Tetteh, popularly known as TT Brothers, has admonished fans of the capital-based club to be abreast with the current day to day running of the club.

To the Uncle T United FC president, understanding the new order will help both the fans and management to run the club better.

Last Sunday’s uninspired performance by Hearts, which led to their exit from the CAF Confederations Cup competition, stirred some of the fans to react negatively.

The angry fans attacked two management members of the club, including Vincent Sowah Odotei.

Indications are that the club’s faithful believe the team is struggling due to Togbe Afede XIV, owner of the club decision to retain Akanbi and Odotei at management level.

He told Asempa FM, “Hearts now has an owner which is Togbe Afede XIV. He has the final say on matters of these nature. He is Hearts owner.”

The TT Brothers MD pointed out that, “Our time was different because the club didn’t have an owner back then.

“There were patrons and leaders. The Ga people used to say that Hearts is not for anyone. But today Hearts has an owner. This is what the supporters must have in their minds. They shouldn’t allow anybody to deceive them.”

“Hearts has an owner today and that is Togbe Afede XIV, just like Kotoko is for the Asantehene. So he chooses who he wants to work with.”
