Twifo-Praso Road Closed For Permanent Repair Works

The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) is asking motorists travelling between Cape Coast and Twifo Praso Road to instead use the Cape Coast-Yamoransa-Assin Fosu-Twifo Praso route.

This follows an announcement by GHA about the closure of the the Cape Coast to Twifo Praso road to carry out permanent works to reinstate the washout which occurred at Jukwa bridge on that stretch.

The road will be closed from 6am Monday, June 27, 2022 to Thursday, June 30, 2022 to allow works to proceed unhindered.

The Cape Coast-Twifo Praso Road will be opened to vehicular traffic on Friday, 1st July, 2022.

Authorities therefore apologized sincerely for any inconvenience which it might caused.
