Actress, Vivian Jill Lawrence, paid an emotional tribute to her late sister, Mabel Ntuah, at a vigil held in her honour on October 12, 2026.
The actress broke down in tears as she recalled how her sister worked hard to keep poverty away from their family during their difficult years in Accra, particularly in East Legon.
Vivian Jill said Mabel constantly encouraged the family to work hard and improve their circumstances.
She described her late sister as a pillar of support whose sacrifices she would always cherish.
Mabel, chief executive officer of Mayan Stitches, died in July 2026, weeks after celebrating her 50th birthday.
Her burial ceremony is scheduled for October 22, 2026, at the State House in Accra.
This would be followed by a funeral ceremony at the Underbridge Events Centre at East Legon on Saturday October 24 2026 and thanksgiving ceremony at the same venue on Sunday October 25.
