Vivo Energy Ghana Plc, the Shell licensee, has reaffirmed its commitment to operational excellence, customer-centricity and strategic partnerships following its successful Retail Conference and Awards ceremony held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.
Held under the theme “Bigger, Bolder, Better Together,” the conference brought together retailers from across the country, management and employees to review the past year’s performance, strengthen collaboration, share best practices and align on strategic priorities for the future of the company’s retail business.
Delivering the keynote address, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Christian Li, commended retailers and employees for their resilience, commitment and pursuit of excellence despite the increasingly dynamic and volatile business environment.
“Our retailers are ambassadors of the Shell brand and the driving force behind the exceptional experiences we deliver to our customers every day. As we look ahead, let us continue to strengthen our safety culture, invest in our people, elevate our standards, embrace innovation and unlock opportunities beyond fuel to position Shell mobility in the hearts and minds of our customers and stakeholders,” he said.
A major highlight of the event was the Retail Awards Ceremony, which recognised individuals and retailers whose outstanding performance, leadership and commitment to operational excellence had set new benchmarks across Vivo Energy Ghana’s retail network.
The top award winners included Michael John-Delase of MKA Delase Ventures, who was named Country Retailer of the Year 2025; Dr. Joseph Dorph of Triple N Company Limited, who received the Gold Retailer 2025 award; Agarthina Wiafe, named Best Territory Manager 2025; and Gloria Serwaa of Shell Aboaso, who was recognised as Best Quality Marshal 2025.
The conference also featured presentations on the company’s half-year performance, highlighting key achievements, growth opportunities and priorities for the second half of the year.
Participants engaged in interactive discussions and an open forum on strengthening operational performance, enhancing customer experience and driving sustainable growth across the retail network.
Several other retailers, territory managers and site teams were also recognised for exceptional achievements in key performance areas.
The Retail Manager, Yves-Roland Campaore, urged retailers and employees to build on the strong momentum recorded in the first half of the year by focusing on business growth, exceptional customer service and the highest standards of operational excellence.
He encouraged the retail network to maintain strong collaboration to achieve greater success in the months ahead.
The conference reinforced Vivo Energy Ghana’s commitment to strong partnerships, innovation and continuous improvement in Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector.
