The new Vlisco Capsule Collection, ‘Thank You Mum’, has been outdoored at the Accra Mall.
The brief ceremony saw stunning fashion designer, Yartel, unveiling new vibrant designs at the Vlisco store at the mall.
This collaboration follows similar partnerships with other renowned designers over the years.
Stephen Badu, Marketing Director, Vlisco Ghana, said the Mothers’ Day season explores Vlisco’s latest collection of vibrant designs with fashion designer Yartel.
“We were inspired by the influence that mothers have on their children. Thus, this quarterly collection has exquisite designs to celebrate our mothers,” he said.
Mr. Badu further explained that the capsule has a combination of colours and patterns that best express the unique individuality and style.
He said Vlisco believes in innovation, hence the collaboration with Yartel.
“Yartel is a promising designer and we are proud to be part of his wonderful story. The collection showcased at the Accra Mall demonstrates his ingenuity and creativity in utilising Vlisco fabrics,” Mr. Badu indicacted.
As part of the collection launch, Vlisco Ghana launched its latest consumer promotion aimed at celebrating mothers.
“When you buy Vlisco cloth worth GH¢1,000 you get a make-up kit from Maybelline and when you buy cloth worth GH¢2,000 you get a two-yard super wax print in addition to the Maybelline make-up kit,” he revealed.
Fashion lovers can choose from 10 exclusive styles featuring Yartel’s signature and works. The outfits will be on display at the Vlisco store from April 30, 2019 to July 31, 2019.
