Kumawood actor, Agya Koo, has asked Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
Speaking at an NPP campaign rally in Takoradi, Agya Koo emphasised the positive achievements of President Akufo-Addo’s administration, urging the public to allow the NPP to continue its governance.
He particularly addressed the youth, advising them not to be swayed by promises from other political parties and to back Dr. Bawumia for a brighter future.
“Wherever I go, both the young and old say they have not forgotten him. Considering how President Akufo-Addo and his government have provided for the nation, especially with developmental projects, we should be grateful,” Agya Koo remarked, as reported by JoyNews on X.
“I urge the youth not to be deceived by sweet talk. For the future of Ghana and our children, I plead with you to vote for the NPP,” he added.
Dr. Bawumia will be contesting against former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and other candidates in the general election scheduled for December 7, 2024.
