VVIP
Hiplife music group, VVIP, and other hiplife artistes will tonight mount the stage at Nima to entertain Muslim fans at an event dubbed ‘Sallahfest Festival’.
The annual event is largely credited for bringing together thousands of people of the Islamic faith across the Muslim communities in Accra on one platform.
The festival which is in its fifth year is hosted by VVIP, a three-man musical group that takes its roots from the Nima community.
Some of the artistes billed to rock the event include E.L, Tinny, Bisa Kdei, Samini, Obrafour, M.anifest, Kwaw Kese, Kofi Kinaata, D Black, Guru, Rudebwoy Ranking, Praye, Koo Ntakra and Joey B.
Others are Iwan, Gasmilla, Gariba, Flowking Stone, Criss Waddle, D Cryme, D Bastero, Ephraim, Eazzy, D Sherrif, Multi Rose, Ras Kuuku, Stranjah, Trademark, Tuba and Kamelyeon.
Frytol cooking oil and EIB Group are the main sponsors of the event.
