The West African Mills Company (WAMCo), a cocoa processing company in Takoradi was crowded Agro processing company of the year at the 2023 Ghana Business Standard Awards.
The 2023 edition of the Ghana Business Standard Awards was held last Friday at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
The awards ceremony was on the theme, ‘Celebrating Organizations Committed to remarkable Business Standards geared towards Sustainable Growth in Ghana’.
The Awards recognized excellence achievers business and responsible organizations and individuals who adhere to the local business requirements while consistently improving their organizations’ performance.
The annual event also celebrates organizations’ committed to remarkable business standards in their sectors and industry leaders breaking barriers of excellence across the Ghanaian business region.
The Managing Director of WAMCo, Frank Bednar was grateful to the organizers of the event for the recognition.
He was hopeful that the award would encourage the staff of the first cocoa processing factory in Ghana to continue to work hard to ensure the progress of the factory
