Wayoosi
Kumawood actor Wayoosi has advised fellow actor LilWin to watch his words after Van Vicker filed a GH¢10 million defamation lawsuit against him.
Speaking on Royal TV, Wayoosi said the lawsuit was the second defamation case involving LilWin and a fellow actor, following an earlier legal dispute with actress Martha Ankomah.
He said the repeated legal challenges were becoming worrying and urged LilWin to think carefully before making public statements.
“This is the second time, and it is becoming too much. The first was with Martha Ankomah, and he wanted the case withdrawn from court and settled at home, but she refused. Now, there is this Van Vicker case,” he said.
Wayoosi explained that comments considered acceptable in one part of the country might offend people elsewhere, adding that LilWin should be mindful of how he communicates.
He also warned that careless remarks could expose people to legal action and costly claims for damages.
“When you are speaking, you should be mindful of the words you use. Some of us, when we are talking, edit our words in our heads because we know we could say something and the next thing we know, the police have picked us up,” he stated.
In February 2024, Martha Ankomah filed a GH¢5 million defamation lawsuit against LilWin over comments he allegedly made about her in a viral video.
In October 2026, Van Vicker also filed a defamation suit against LilWin at the Accra High Court, seeking GH¢10 million in exemplary damages.
The suit followed a viral video in which LilWin allegedly questioned Van Vicker’s professionalism and claimed that he could no longer participate in movie productions in Kumasi.
