The Abusuapanyin of the late Daddy Lumba’s family, Kofi Owusu, popularly known as “Tupac”, has renewed his appeal for peace between the musician’s wives following the successful one-year remembrance ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Kofi Owusu stressed that his responsibility as the family’s Abusuapanyin is to foster harmony rather than take sides in disagreements.
He said he believes it is important for family members to show understanding towards one another, noting that people often go through personal challenges that are not visible to others.
According to him, the successful organisation of the remembrance ceremony presents an opportunity for all parties to put their differences behind them and work towards reconciliation.
Kofi Owusu urged the two women to end the public exchange of accusations and curses, saying the family’s greatest wish is to see them living peacefully.
He expressed confidence that reconciliation is possible with God’s guidance and prayed for the day both women would come together to honour Daddy Lumba’s memory in unity.
The family head further stated that if the two wives decide to jointly preserve and celebrate the late musician’s legacy, he would willingly offer his support in his role as Abusuapanyin.
His comments come amid continued public interest in the relationship between Daddy Lumba’s wives as the family seeks to safeguard the legacy of one of Ghana’s greatest highlife musicians.
