Winneba Tennis Academy Gets High-Quality Support

Founder of High-Quality Tennis Foundation and a former Winneba Tennis Academy star, Eric Okyere, has donated assorted tennis equipment to the Winneba Tennis Academy.

According to the donor, the gesture was his contribution to reviving the sport at Winneba.

The items included tennis clothes, sets of junior rackets, boxes of tennis balls and various pairs of tennis shoes.

Receiving the donation at Winneba, Head Coach of the Winneba Tennis Academy, Noah Bagerbaseh, expressed his sincerest gratitude for the gesture.

Coach Noah recalled how Okyere had always been a gentleman even as a young player. He reiterated the call to all former Winneba Tennis Academy players to support the foundation in their efforts to help the Winneba Tennis Academy.

Speaking to ghanatennis.org, Okyere thanked US based former Ghana Tennis Federation female No.1 – Francisca Nyarko, Marcel Tibie Jnr., Greg Cromwell – a professor at Lancaster University in Milwauke-US and Nana Kwakye for supporting the foundation financially and with tennis items.

Present for the donation were head coach of the academy – Noah Bagerbaseh, Kenyan based ITF coach – Albert Arthur with support from Coach Charles Abugubila, Mariama Hamidu and Henry A. Pufaa.
