DOCUTECH Ghana Limited, authorized local distributor of Xerox Products in Ghana, recently held a training workshop on smart printing solutions for domestic, official and industrial purposes.
The workshop, which was held in Accra, aimed at sharing practical insights on new printing technologies and digital software.
Dubbed the “Xerox Find Your Solution Workshop” the forum featured leading Xerox global experts who engaged participants with the view of will enabling business professionals to better compete in a rapidly changing business sector environment.
In his address, Jean Louis Feghali, Managing Director of Docutech, stressing on the need for digitization, remarked that the adoption of digitisation will lead to a high performing and more secure workplace in corporate and industrial institutions.
“A simplistic way to explain digital transformation is to state that if you want to go digital then you have to print less. To be able to print less you need to understand what you print. Then you have to understand why you print, whether necessary or not,” he stated.
He disclosed that the newly unveiled smart printing machines were powered by advanced technologies and software to insure comprehensive security (when dealing with sensitive data).
He also added that, the newly unveiled products also allowed easy access to performance indicators and data related to device utilisation.
With the new smart printers, users can scan, save and print documents directly to and from their online storages such as Google Drive, Cloud etc.
The printers are also able to convert documents into English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indian and German audio and sent directly into the mails of users; and are able to allow users block or hide certain confidential information of documents before printing.
Docutech also provides comprehensive product training and after-sales service for all Xerox products sold in Ghana.
