Rapper Yaa Pono, also known as Ponobiom, has taken a swipe at people whose only aim is about winning US-based award, the Grammys.
According to him, such aims are unwise, describing it as “foolish thinking.”
In a tweet, which has since received a lot of reactions, he wrote: “Grammy aimers, nkwasia thinking nkoaa.”
He however didn’t explain if he was referring to artistes who aimed at winning a Grammy or the fans who are always bugging artistes to work on winning the US award.
While some of the fans laughed about the statement, others went hard at him because to them he should be aiming at winning a Grammy.
“Go to the studio, record a song or an album, put it out and let’s go and cop it and stop throwing stones on the field boss abeg,” @LivingAtown responded to Ponobiom.
Yaa Pono is currently one of Ghana’s dynamic rappers who are known for not holding back if they jump on a beat.
He is not scared to speak his mind and it appears he is preparing something big in the studio for Grammy aimers.
