Accra-based urban radio station, Y107.9FM, is set to host the country’s biggest DJ skills exhibition party dubbed the ‘Infinit Y Jam’.
The event, which will come off on April 30, 2021, will witness performances from twelve DJs rocking the turntables with their hottest song mixes.
DJs for the event include all your favourite in-house DJs from YFM Accra as well as DJ Bongo from Y102.5FM Kumasi and DJ Gunshot from Y97.9FM Takoradi. There will also be guest DJs like DJ Shiwaawa, DJ Putin, EF the DJ and DJ Endowed, all present to blow up the turntables with their carefully selected song mixes.
Also to anchor the programme will be four energetic presenters, Kojo Manuel, Jonny Stone, Nockus the Soulman and AJ Ahenkan.
Speaking at the launch of the event, Y107.9FM’s Programmes Manager, Eddy Blay said, “The Infinit Y Jam is going to be one exclusive night that you can’t afford to miss out on.”
According to him, “Looking at all the DJs on deck and with how pumped our guest DJs are, we’re really looking forward to it. Our in-house DJs are ready to blaze the trail, Kumasi is bringing a rep and Takoradi is bringing a rep. All these guys congregating on one platform for twelve hours, you know it’s going to be a long and litty one 12 DJs for 12 hours so don’t miss out on this one.”
The Infinit Y Jam is YFM Accra’s version of YFM Kumasi’s DJs jam which they titled the ‘Wake-Keeping’. The Infinit Y Jam as its name demands, promises to be the longest night of what will seem like a never ending flow of good music.
