Val’s Day movie, ‘The Men We Love’ by actress Yvonne Nelson’s YN Productions brought a lot of cinema-goers to the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on Monday.
The movie gathered more movie enthusiasts to the cinema more than any other movie this year.
It was shown at Accra Mall and West Hills Mall. The Accra mall cinemas were full and fans had to wait in queues to watch the movie. The movie was reportedly shown at 5pm, 7pm, 9pm and 11pm. As of 12-midnight people were still queuing to watch.
‘The Men We Love’ is a beautiful tale of four ladies; Maria, Samantha, Shantel and Michelle who are not related by blood or anything remotely close to it but all they share in common is their femininity, embitterment and craving for their psychological and emotional freedom.
It stars an array of actors including Majid Michel, James Gardiner, veteran actress Eunice Banini, TikTok star Jackline Mensah, Regina Van-Helvert, Comedian Hogan, Angela Bamford and Yvonne Nelson.
The rest are Nana Ansomah, Nana Made In China, Kweku Elliot and Sophia Kalorizos among others.
The movie is said to be in the cinemas in the coming weeks after the Valentine’s Day premiere.
