Ghanaian-American artiste, Zie, has declared that his recently released seven-track Extended Play (EP), Kwesi, will break boundaries and climb the charts on various music platforms in the coming days.
Released on June 21, the Kwesi EP features collaborations with Ghana’s Pappy Kojo and American singer Chimini-Yoka. Zie emphasised that the project was meticulously produced to meet listeners’ demands for high-quality, authentic music.
In an interview with NEWSONE, Zie stated, “The tracklist showcases an exciting mix of unapologetically Ghanaian harmonies and features notable artistes such as Ghana’s Pappy Kojo and American singer Chimini-Yoka.”
To celebrate the release, the ‘I’m Different’ rapper hosted a private listening session attended by friends, family, and influential industry figures.
Zie, an Oklahoma native, has a passion for contemporary pop culture that shines through his art. He began his recording career with his Eliminate All Troubles (EAT) brand in Oklahoma before moving to Las Vegas, where it gained significant success.
EAT was founded in 2013 and has since grown into a lifestyle brand embodying a mentality of ambition and positivity.
After releasing his acclaimed debut project, ‘Animal’, in 2012, Zie has evolved beyond marketing and branding, stepping into a lyrical realm where his love for hip-hop stands tall.
His knack for rhyming has resulted in numerous impactful tracks that showcase his creative prowess through captivating content and visuals.
