Zoobashop.com, Ghana’s premier and largest online retail store, has been adjudged the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) E-Commerce Company of the year.
This marks the second consecutive time that Zoobashop is winning the coveted award.
The award was received at the 27th CIMG Awards held over the weekend at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.
The annual event seeks to reward entities in Ghana who have shown marketing prowess in their bid to satisfy their customers.
Launched in December 2013, the solely Ghanaian-owned online store, Zoobashop.com has worked tirelessly to make online shopping appealing to the Ghanaian.
Its Cash on Delivery payment option for instance allows shoppers to make cash commitment only after their orders have been delivered.
Albert Biga, CEO Zoobashop.com, who received the award at the function, said “Being named e-commerce Company of the year for the second consecutive years is extremely humbling. We continue to grow and lead the market even in these difficult times. Our customers have stayed faithful and we are very grateful to them.”
Andrew Aguda, the company’s Director of Operations, who commented on the work that the Zooba team put into their service throughout the year, stated that “we did not rest on our oars after winning the maiden version of this prestigious award in 2015. The hard work has paid off and we are super excited about being adjudged the best e-commerce company for the second consecutive year. We will continually seek new ways to delight our customers with better variety, more convenience and above all excellent service.”
