The future of two first-year male students of Nkawie Senior High School (SHS) hangs in the balance after they were caught engaging in homosexual act.

The two beleaguered students were reportedly found bonking each other in a classroom by their colleagues who informed the school’s authorities.

The headmaster and teaching staff, who were astounded, quickly suspended the students from the school some few days ago.

The incident had been reported to the district and regional directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES), and a decision would be made soon.

The PTA chairman of the school, Kwabena Osei Mensah, told DAILY GUIDE that this is the first time such an incident has occurred in the school.

According to him, the incident shocked the entire student body, teaching staff, headmaster and PTA of the school.

On that fateful day, the students were taking part in a sporting activity in the afternoon on the field but the two students moved into the classroom. Some students later went to the classroom to check what the two students were doing at the time and found them bonking each other, he added.

Mr. Mensah said the headmaster immediately ordered the two boys to leave the school’s campus to help prevent attacks by their irate colleagues.

He disclosed that the Board of Governors of the school would meet this week to determine the next line of action.
