The commissioning of the boreholes falls under the philanthropic arm of its philanthropic arm, THX 22 Foundation.
Speaking in an interview, Dickson Assan, Operational Manager for 22Bet, said, “This initiative has provided over 500 locals with a sustainable source of potable water, reducing waterborne diseases and improving their quality of life,”
Mr. Assan added, “Building on this success, in 2024, the foundation further expanded its efforts by inaugurating a borehole at Have-Fiakpokorpe in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region.”

Beyond infrastructure development, he indicated that the THX 22 Foundation has also extended financial support to victims of natural disasters, stating that in 2024, the foundation donated GH¢10,000 to assist those affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage.
Also, he mentioned that in October 2024, to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the THX 22 Foundation partnered with Danpong Community Hospital to conduct free breast cancer screenings for over 100 women at the Texpo Market in Spintex, Accra.
Mr. Assan emphasized that 22Bet Ghana’s people-centered approach to business sets it apart from other companies in the gaming industry.
“By investing in water infrastructure, health initiatives, disaster relief, and gaming awareness, the company is not just fulfilling its corporate social responsibility but also actively contributing to the broader national development agenda,” he said.
Looking ahead, Mr. Assan said that 22Bet Ghana and the THX 22 Foundation are poised to expand their CSR footprint by identifying and addressing more pressing societal needs.
