Patrons of this year’s edition of the August Worship Concert which comes off on Sunday, August 21, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) will be treated to refreshing live musical performances from selected Ghanaian gospel artistes.
This year’s edition of the concert will guarantee an uplifting, soul-soothing and body moving night of music, drama and dance.
Without any doubt, the event which is under the theme: ‘Being An Agent of Peace’, will witness performances from gospel musicians such as Joe Mettle, Elder Mireku, Preye, Jeshurun and a host of others.
The event is being organised to impact on the younger generation an upright way of life with God and also to encourage the youth to use their skills and talents to glorify God and deepen their understanding of God.
Joe Mettle has promised to give of his best during the concert which is aimed at strengthening people to overcome all forms of addiction.
The event is powered by the Jeshurun Okyere Global Outreach (JOGO), in partnership with EIB, to commemorate Starr FM’s two years in broadcasting. The event is set to start from 4:00pm.
This year’s edition will be opened by Dr Michael Boadi Nyamekye of Makers House Chapel International, as he delves into the scriptures on the theme to inspire the gathering in pursuit of their goals in life.
