Aduana Capture Top Spot

Aduana Stars hit the back of the net four times against Techiman City to capture the top spot of the Ghana Premier League in Dormaa Ahenkro yesterday.

The emphatic win dislodges Wa All Stars from the summit, a position they have enjoyed for many weeks with two games remaining.

League leading scorer Yahaya Mohamed, who had his name on the score sheet in a post-match interview revealed that their ascension to the top of the ladder gives clear indication that they are not looking back and that they will seal victory in Wa when they play as guests of dethroned leaders All Stars

He said “We have never been to the top this season, and having achieved that feat today, we will not look back, we will win the league at Wa.”
