Haruna Iddrisu addressing party supporters
The Minister for Employment & Labour Relations, Haruna Iddrisu, has indicated that President John Mahama has approved over €10m hospital project for the Tolon District to improve healthcare delivery in the area.
According to the minister, Sawla would benefit from the same project, while Buipe would benefit from an accident and emergency centre.
He made this known at the campaign launch of the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Tolon Constituency, Umar Razaq.
Mr Iddrisu stated that government would be constructing a community day senior high school for the people of Nyankpala next year when the president wins the December 7 elections.
Information gathered indicates that the chief of the area has already donated a land for the construction of the school.
The Labour & Relations minister said three communities within the Tolon constituency would be connected to the national grid before the general elections.
Haruna Iddrisu indicated that all the developmental projects being implemented by the president show how dear the people of the north and the country are to him.
“Let us support President Mahama to continue the development of Ghana, the north and the development of Tolon,” he added.
He called on the people of Tolon to rally behind Umar Razaq to help him win the parliamentary seat for the NDC.
