Police Keep Fit… With Special Games

THE ASHANTI Regional Police Command organized games for personnel on Wednesday.

The policemen indulged in games such as football, volleyball, draught and table tennis, among others games.

The games, organized every Wednesday by the command, is geared towards keeping the police fit.

It is also aimed at boosting oneness and unity among the policemen, thereby enhancing their delivery.

Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Andy Osei Ocrah, was a special guest during the games.

Sister security agencies like prisons, immigration, fire service, military and CEPS also graced the event.

COP Kofi Boakye, the Ashanti Regional Police Commander, stressed the need for the police to always remain fit.

He assured that the police in the region are poised and combat ready to deal with miscreants during the polls.

COP Boakye, known as ‘Commander One’, warned people in the region to be law abiding to stay away from trouble.

Mr Andy Osei Ocrah urged the police to work to protect the peace of the state before, during and after the polls.
