A four-hour intensive health engagement session aimed at equipping members of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) at Odorkor has been held.
Put together by Noble Professionals, a group that seeks to promote the welfare of members of PIWC and the church as a whole, the health session drew a large following to the PIWC premises at Onyinase.
Dr Ekow Dadzie, a medical practitioner, Sanford World Clinic, and Wise Chukwudi Letsa, founder of Let’s Consult Department Clinic, on separate topics on the theme ‘Our Health and You’ took participants through healthy living and dieting.
Dr Dadzie mentioned jobs as the number one cause of stress; an unfortunate situation which he said is the leading cause of death in the country recently.
He advised participants to utilise their time, plan for vacations and conduct regular check-ups and exercise regularly.
Mr Letsa, on the other hand, threw more light on the right type of food participants should look out for.
Noble Professionals President, Godwin Adzimah, described the maiden health engagement as a huge success, having realised its vision of providing platforms for professionals in the church to harness their potentials.
The group also seeks to supports the church to achieve a cross-cultural excellence relevance in worship evangelism, discipleship and building capacity.
