Subin MP Tasks Security Agencies

Eugene Boakye Antwi, the NPP MP-elect for Subin and his executives being prayed for during the church service

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP)-elect for Subin, Eugene Boakye Antwi, has tasked the security agencies to work assiduously to maintain law and order in the country.

He stated that the incoming Nana Akufo-Addo administration can effectively accelerate the development of the country in an atmosphere of peace.

In this regard, the Subin MP-elect charged the security agencies to sustain their splendid work so as to reduce crime to the barest minimum.

Mr. Boakye Antwi made the remarks when he led the NPP executives in Subin, his family members and friends to the St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica in Kumasi on Sunday to thank God for helping the NPP to win the December 7 polls.

He gave assurance that the President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would fulfill all his campaign promises and create jobs for the youth, urging the citizenry to rally behind the incoming NPP government to succeed.

The Subin MP-elect prayed for God’s special protection and guidance for Nana Akufo-Addo so that his government would deliver to the expectation of the majority of Ghanaians who voted massively for the NPP.

He also prayed to God to help him to be a humble, development-oriented MP who would serve the interests of the constituents in the next four years.

On behalf of the NPP, especially Nana Akufo-Addo, the MP-elect, thanked the EC and the security agencies for making the polls free, fair and peaceful.

He also thanked the electorate for reposing confidence in the NPP.

Mr. Boakye Antwi was accompanied to the church by fellow NPP MPs elect- Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere, Atwima Nwabiagya South and Collins Owusu Amankwa, Manhya North.

Rev. Monsignor Gabriel Acheampong, who preached the sermon to the congregation, urged officials of the incoming NPP administration to faithfully serve Ghanaians in humility.
