Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu
The Appointments Committee of Parliament will today vet the rest of the Ministers-designate nominated by President Akufo-Addo.
So far the committee has vetted about 25 nominees, and this round of vetting could also be interesting with some bigwigs, including Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, the Minister-designate for Parliamentary Affairs and the MP for Suame, expected to appear before the committee today.
Others are Minister-designate for Tourism and Creative Arts, Catherine Afeku, who is the MP for Evalue-Gwira and Prof George Gyan-Baffour, Minister-designate for Planning, who is also the MP for Wenchi.
Those who are expected to appear tomorrow are Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Minister-designate for Youth and Sports, who is also the MP for Atwima Mponua; Awal Ibrahim Mohammed, Minister-designate for Business Development and Mavis Hawa Koomson, Minister-designate for Special Development Initiatives, who is also the MP for Awutu Senya East.
On Wednesday, February 8, Kofi Dzamesi, Minister-designate for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs; Cecilia Dapaah, Minister-designate for Aviation and Boniface Saddique, Minister-designate for Inner-City and Zongo Development, who is also the MP for Madina, will also appear before the committee.
Elizabeth Naa Afoley Quaye, Minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture, who is also the MP for Krowor and Mustapha Abdul-Hammid, Minister-designate for Information, will complete the list on Thursday when they appear before the committee.
