The German/Swiss School at Nima, Accra, was the venue of a programme, dubbed, ‘Fun & Run For Street’ Children last Saturday.
Dozens of persons participated in the run, which was organised by Chance For Children to support street children in Accra.
Those, who partook in the programme, donated monies for the sustenance of the street kids.
The fun & run, which commenced from the school, went through the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and the Dutch Embassy and back to the school.

The NGO, Chance For Children, he said, runs a drop in centre at Abossey Okai in Accra where street children come and eat and receive counseling services from psychologists.
Classes are also organised for the children, he added.
Continuing he said that the NGO has the following departments, Drop In Centre, Hebron Home, where street children, are housed until they are ready to be integrated into families.
There is also a youth in professional training programme and a support for children within their nuclear families.
