The aspiring candidate for the national coordinator of the Nasara, Abdul Aziz Haruna Futtah, a group sympathetic to the ruling NPP has been honoured for his immense contribution to the success story of the senior national soccer side, the Black Stars during the 2006 and 2010 World Cup.
The event which was organized at the Equatorial Guinea embassy praised Aziz for his organizational and leadership skills in canvassing support for the Black Stars.
In a special citation, the C.E.O of the Humanity Magazine international, Yahaya Alhassan said “Your youthful exuberance and love for Ghana was shown in Germany and South Africa when Ghana wrote its name at the summit of world football, you mastered in the organization of the various support groups to invite other nationals to support the Black Stars.
It added “You have always championed the youth for social, political and religious endeavors for the benefit of Ghana. We wish you success in your endeavors.”
Receiving the award was the Equatorial Guinean ambassador to Ghana, Jesus Mba Bela Abaha for the promotion of relations between the two countries and the Equatorial Guinean president, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo for his historic campaign against Ebola following his acceptance to host the 2015 nations cup.
