Humanity Magazine Honours Hajia Zeinabu Sallow

The Ashanti Regional Treasurer of the NPP, Hajia Zeinabu Sallow, has been honoured by The Humanity Magazine International for her organizational leadership towards the advancement of women in the Zongos.

A certificate presented to Hajia Sallow in recognition of her achievements states that “For your leadership role towards the promotion of savings among women and contribution to the banking industry”.

The certificate of honour, which was signed by the country director of The Humanity Magazine International, Mr Yahya Alhassan, also praised her for making issues concerning women her priority.

Hajia, as she is popularly known, is also the Ashanti Regional manager of the Micro and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC),.

Mr Alhassan noted in an interview that the renewal of Hajia Sallow’s mandate as the Ashanti Regional Treasurer is a testimony to her delivery of excellent service as a public and political official.

She is the latest among distinguished women in the Ashanti Region to be honoured for their contribution to gender activism. Other celebrated women who have received the award include the Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Elizabeth Agyemang.

The Humanity Magazine International promotes quality leadership by recognizing the achievements of individuals in public and private institutions, to serve as shinning examples for other managers to emulate. “At Humanity Magazine International we also promote African business by encouraging such business to team up with their counterparts in other parts of the world, for these indigenous businesses to expand.

Mr. Alhassan encouraged other managers of state owned institutions and private enterprises to emulate the qualities of Hajia Zeinabu Sallow and other winners of the Humanity award by aiming for greatness.
