Acting Inspector General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh, has asked for the two police officers who allegedly tortured a man in their custody to be interdicted.
The two officers were captured in a video that has since gone viral, purportedly torturing the man.
The interdicted officers are General Sergeant Patrick Amoako and General Lance Corporal Isaac Marfo.
They are seen in the video using belts to beat a man accused by his employer of stealing GH¢1,600.
The complainant in the case is reported to have shot the video.
