Mauricio Pochettino
Tottenham will land a huge £10million windfall if Mauricio Pochettino lands another job before the end of the season, according to The Mirror.
The Argentine has been linked with the managerial jobs at Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich since he was axed by Tottenham in November.
Barcelona reportedly considered Pochettino before they appointed Quique Setien as their new head coach but his links to city rivals Espanyol means a move to the Nou Camp remains unlikely.
Pochettino was linked to Old Trafford while he was still at Spurs but United’s awful recent form has accelerated talk of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer getting sacked.
It is claimed Pochettino still has ‘strong support in the United boardroom’ and he would be a leading candidate to take over if Solskjaer is shown the door.
Bayern Munich are definitely on the hunt for a new manager with current boss Hansi Flick only in charge until the end of the season.
The German giants parted company with Niko Kovac earlier this season but have hit top form once again with Flick at the helm.
Pochettino has hinted he favours a move to the Premier League or LaLiga when he returns to management.
When asked about his next career move earlier this month, Pochettino joked that he didn’t understand the question before telling LaLigaTV presenter Simon Hanley that he was still weighing up his options while enjoying time off with his family.
