Samira Yennube Kombat, a product of the University for Development Studies (UDS) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Business Studies, has been selected to represent the North East Region in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant.

In an interview with NEWS-ONE, Samira mentioned how privileged she is to represent the people of the North East Region in this year’s GMB.

According to her, she is bold, beautiful, eloquent and results-oriented—and appealed for the support, blessings and prayers of all the people of the North East Region.

Ms. Kombat indicated that because of her passion for girl-child education, she worked as a team member of the Early Grade Reading Assessment Programme-Ghana, powered by Ivy Lead Consult Africa in partnership with Social Impact and USAID from 2017 to 2019.

The project, according to her, sought to promote girl-child education in the area of reading, literature and grammar.

She is a member of the Globally Inspired Generations (GIGs Ghana), which is working on a project dubbed ‘Back To My School Campaign’.

“I want to assure the good people of the North East Region that with their support, I will bring the crown to our home region at the end of the competition,” she said.

The North East Region has beautiful sites such as the Nakpanduri Escarpment, Buyuori Cave at Yikpabongo and other tourist attractions.
