‘NDC Will Win December Polls’

Philip Fiifi Buckman addressing party faithful

A senior member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Totobi Quakyi, has said the NDC is very confident of wresting political power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), come December 2020.

He said the NDC was poised to capture political power in the December general election to implement programmes that would better the lots of Ghanaians.

He has, therefore, called on the electorate to vote massively for former President John Dramani Mahama as president and all the NDC parliamentary candidates in this year’s polls for the party to continue its good works, as the current government had failed to deliver on its promises made to the people.

Mr. Quakyi stated this during the campaign launch of the NDC parliamentary candidate for the Kwesimintsim Constituency in the Western Region, Philip Fiifi Buckman, who is a private legal practitioner.

He stressed that the NDC would win the 2020 elections by a huge margin to send the NPP back into opposition.

The parliamentary candidate, Fiifi Buckman, noted that Ghanaians would disappoint themselves and the generations yet unborn if they give the NPP another term, come December this year.

He reiterated that when given the nod, the NDC would create more jobs for the youth in Ghana and that he would create the opportunity for the youth of Kwesimintsim to be trained and acquire employable skills.

The Western Regional Chairman of the NDC, Nana Kojo Toku, asserted that the ruling party would be buying the votes of the electorate by giving so many goodies to them and asked the people to take those items but vote against the government.

“Cocoa farmers are crying, small-scale miners are crying, fishermen are crying, and they are crying for John Dramani Mahama and his government to come back to power,” he added.
