At least some 556 positive cases of Coronavirus have been recorded at the Kotoka International Airport.
Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, made this known to the media at the Information Ministry’s last briefing for the year on December 22, 2020.
According to him, in September when the airport was reopened, 48 cases were recorded.
In October, he said 98 positive cases were recorded at the airport.
He added that in November, the cases recorded were 168 cases were recorded.
He noted that in December 2020 244 cases were recorded.
The largest numbers of arrivals are coming from the US, followed by UK and Nigeria.
